Uniform

Correct clothing and footwear is extremely important not only to adhere to our health and safety standards but also to ensure that movement is not restricted and to evoke a sense of pride in being a part of Second City.

However, you or your child will have the chance to try our classes before buying the uniform until you know that Second City is right for you.

To ensure uniformity in colour, quality and style we suggest that all items should be ordered through Second City. This can be done in person or by getting in touch via phone, text or email.

Class Uniform

Leotard & Leggings

As our standard class uniform pupils are to wear a blue leotard and black leggings. To ensure the same colour and style the leotard is to be purchased through the school. Black 'dance' leggings can also be purchased or students can wear standard black leggings.

The only class our uniform differs is ballet where students are expected to either wear a skirt and ballet socks or ballet tights as oppose to black leggings. Ballet shoes and tap shoes are also required for ballet and tap.

This class uniform will also be used during exams,

Please note the leotard is also available in short sleeves and long sleeves.

Warm Up/Casual Uniform

Black unifrom emroided with Logo

We have a range of warm up uniform that is great to keep you warm until you have warmed up in class but should not be worn for the duration of your lesson.

However, it is also perfect to wear to and from class and is a great way to represent and feel a part of Second City. This uniform is also worn for trips that we take as a school where our regular class uniform is not required.

Please note this uniform is not a requirement for class and is completely optional, however you may be encouraged for some trips where it is important to represent our school.
